About
Life Link of Southwest Virginia is a non-governmental humanitarian relief organization that acts as a pipeline for donated medical equipment, supplies, and personnel to be distributed to areas of need. While we are partnered with organizations both at home and abroad, the current focus is our work partnering with Life Link Medical Centre and King Solomon's Academy (orphanage and school) in Kampala, Uganda.
Life Link of Southwest Virginia was founded by Pastor Doug Martin and Dr. Eddie Crabtree as a regional extension of Life Link International headed up by Dr. Carl Conley of Tucson, AZ.
LifeLink International sponsors projects around the globe such as building a TB Ward in a Nigerian Leper Colony, establishing agricultural and socio-economic programs in third world countries to provide better health and financial independence to rural communities, building orphanages, and installing water purification systems in under-developed areas.
Dr. Eddie Crabtree
is the Senior Pastor of Valley Word Church in Roanoke, VA where he and his
wife, Debbie, have pastored for 14 years. Prior to pastoring Valley
Word Church, Dr. Crabtree and his wife founded Living Word Family
Church in Raleigh, NC, where they pastored for seven years before
being led back to their hometown of Salem, VA to take on their
present roles.
Dr. Conley has earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Theology, a Doctorate in Law, and a Doctorate in
